Impregnated carbon graphs.

Depending on the method of reducing (eliminating) porosity, graphite graphites are divided into:

  1. Synthetic resin impregnated carbon graphite.
  2. Metal-impregnated carbon graphite.

In general, impregnation reduces porosity, increases elastic modulus, hardness (slightly), temperature coefficient of linear expansion and thermal conductivity.
