The selection of seal's materials depends on the type and working medium (liquid, gas, vapour, temperature, pressure, oxidizing ability, etc.), features of the use of seals (out – in or circular motion, traveling speed), features of the design of the seal (radial – contact or mechanical) and etc.
The material should provide the necessary tightness of the wiring and the defined endurance of the seal.
